MARS created a new EDM sound that helped change the dance music culture in America. Considered the pioneer of Cybertrance, MARS has attained a cult-like following, according to the SF Weekly, and is recognized as one of the most influential American dance music producers, particularly on the West Coast.
MARS has played to more than 45,000 people at some of the largest dance events in U.S. history, such as the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Nocturnal Wonderland, Together As One, and countless others. As a major influence on EDM, MARS has received press from Billboard magazine, Urb magazine, the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Weekly, Wired, Buzzfeed, and MTV.
Currently, MARS has just inked a new residency in Las Vegas at the prestigious Sahara Casino. He also hosts a new EDM Radio show on Saturday nights on 91.5FM, also in Las Vegas and named after his record label, Frequency 8.
